For the Sick or Injured:
“Lord, look upon (_____) with eyes of mercy. May Your healing hand rest upon (him/her), may your life giving powers flow into every cell of (his/her’s) body and into the depths of (his/her’s) soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring (him/her) to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen”
“Almighty and ever living God, physician who brings eternal healing to those who believe, hear us as we ask your compassionate help for your servant (_____) who is injured and broken. Give (him/her) back good health, and enable (him/her) to return thanks to you in the assembly of the faithful. Amen.”
“Loving God, we pray today for (_____) who is confronted by the sadness, ambiguity and confusion of (mental health issue), and for those upon whom (he/she) depends for attention and compassionate care. Look with mercy on all (his/her’s) afflictions that bring (him,her) weakness, distress, confusion or isolation. “Applications can be overwhelming and even intimidating. So Go, I ask that you help me to be confident in the skill, individuality, and gifts that you have given me. That I may complete my application in confidence knowing that I have something to offer and that you are with me making sure I get the job that is just for me. Help me gather all the information needed for the application and to relay my thoughts in away that is personable yet professional. Help me to see what the specific employer needs so that I may tailor my application to fit their qualifications. Amen”
For Success at the Job Interview:
“God, help me to see the great and undeniable things about myself that are only true to me. Help me to showcase myself in a way that highlights who I am as an individual, but also relates why I would be an important addition to their company. May your peace be settled in me so that I can convey my thoughts clearly and professionally during this upcoming job interview. Help me to answer all questions in a way that is authentic, yet honest and true to who I am and what I have to offer. Prayer for Career Guidance:
“God, I come to you knowing that you know all things and always have my best interest at heart. Lord, I come seeking your guidance today. Help me to understand which career path is right for me right now. I am choosing not to lean unto my own understanding, but to instead acknowledge you, thus allowing you to guide and lead my footsteps. It can be hard to see the right thing to do from my view within my own circumstances, so I am instead trusting your judgement and your direction to show me what to do and where to go in this season of my life. Give me eyes to see and ears to hear what you would have me to do. Amen”

You are in control of this situation. ()’s life is in Your hands. I ask that You surround me with your peace that I may not worry and that you also touch (_____) with your powerful healing hands. Bless the surgeons as well, God. Give them steady, dexterous hands as they operate on (). Keep their minds sharp all throughout the operation, so that every move they make will serve to help ()’s ailing body.
