  • Self-Worship

    Self-Worship

We live in a world that constantly tells us to focus on ourselves.
    “Protect your peace.”
    “Manifest your future.”
    “Do what makes you happy.”
    “Follow your heart.”

At first, many of these phrases sound harmless—even encouraging. But there is a dangerous line between healthy reflection and self-worship. There comes a season in life when every person needs to stop, stand in front of the mirror, and ask difficult questions: (more…)

  • A Mother’s Day Gift That Lasts Forever

A Mother’s Day Gift That Lasts Forever

Mother’s Day is often filled with flowers, cards, dinners, and gifts wrapped in pretty paper. While those things are thoughtful and meaningful, the greatest gifts are not always material. Some gifts cannot be bought in a store, placed in a box, or measured by a price tag. The most powerful gifts are spiritual gifts—gifts that touch the soul and change eternity.

This Mother’s Day, I gave and received the greatest gift a son could ever ask for. (more…)

  • Dancing with an Angel

    Dancing with an Angel

Some days are loud. The world pulls at you from every direction, filling your mind with pressure, disappointment, expectations, and endless noise. Then there are days when God quietly calls you away from all of it—not to run, not to hide, but simply to be still long enough to hear Him again. (more…)

Be the Flow: Another Chance to Make the World Better

Every day is another chance to make the world a better place. I woke today with a smile… and a sore back. My day could have gone either way. My mother was in the hospital, and my job already had a long lineup of tasks waiting for me. Before the day even really started, it felt full—heavy, even. (more…)

  • Start Your Morning With God, Not the World

Start Your Morning With God, Not the World

There’s a moment every morning that most people miss. It’s quiet, still, and undemanding—before the notifications start, before the stress begins, before the world starts pulling at your attention. And yet, so often, we give that moment away without thinking. We reach for our phones, check messages, and scroll through problems that aren’t even ours yet. Just like that, our peace is replaced with pressure before our feet even hit the floor. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There is another way to begin your day—one that doesn’t leave you drained before you even get started. (more…)

  • The Power of Prayer in the Community of Faith

The Power of Prayer in the Community of Faith

There is a quiet strength that lives within a community that prays together. It’s not loud, not always visible, and often not recognized in the moment—but it is powerful beyond measure. Prayer has a way of binding hearts, lifting burdens, and carrying one another through seasons that would otherwise feel impossible to endure alone.

  • Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It

Do you want the easy button, or do you want a mission that is worth living for and dying for? This is the question that Jesus Christ places before every one of His disciples. It is not a casual invitation—it is a defining decision. Do you want the temporary comfort and rewards this world offers, or do you want the greatest promise ever given: to spend eternity in the Kingdom of Paradise with Him? (more…)

  • The Endless Search for “Enough”

    The Endless Search for “Enough”

We live in a world that constantly tells us what we have isn’t enough. If I get that job, everything will be better. If I buy that car, life will be easier. If I move into that house, I’ll finally have the space I need. If I own that thing, wear that brand, or reach that level, then I’ll feel complete. But “then” never really comes. The finish line keeps moving, and the satisfaction we expected never fully arrives. That’s because this isn’t just about wanting better—it’s about trying to fill something deeper. It’s an emptiness that many people carry without even realizing it exists, so they chase achievements, possessions, and recognition, hoping one more thing will finally bring peace.

Even George Carlin once pointed out (more…)

  • Faithfulness Over Fame: Change Somebody’s World

Faithfulness Over Fame: Change Somebody’s World

Today I prayed for guidance because discouragement had begun to settle in. I brought a question before the Lord that had been weighing on me: Am I wasting my time, money, and effort? I thought about the websites, the devotionals, the blog posts, the coffee brand, and the vision behind it all. I have poured hours into these things, often day and night, hoping to see a little more momentum, a little more excitement, some sign that the work was connecting. But when visible results seem small, disappointment can creep in. And if you are not careful, discouragement starts whispering that your obedience does not matter.

So I prayed and asked the Lord plainly if I was wasting my time. And He answered me with a story. (more…)

  • When God Redirects the Heart

    When God Redirects the Heart

There are days when the Lord speaks through Scripture, and there are days when He speaks through people He places in our path. Today was one of those days. I had coffee with an amazing friend of mine, Frank McEleny, and I left that conversation changed. (more…)

  • When Heaven Seems Silent: 8 Reasons God May Not Be Answering Your Prayers

When Heaven Seems Silent: 8 Reasons God May Not Be Answering Your Prayers

Few things test faith more than praying earnestly and feeling as though heaven is silent. Most believers have walked through that valley. We pray for healing, direction, provision, or relief, and when the answer does not come the way we hoped—or does not seem to come at all—it can leave us wrestling with hard questions. Is God listening? Have I done something wrong? Why does it feel like my prayers are going nowhere? Those questions do not make you faithless; they make you human. (more…)

  • When a Vision Grows Quiet

    When a Vision Grows Quiet

There are seasons when a dream feels alive—full of movement, possibility, and purpose. Then there are seasons when that same vision grows quiet, and you begin to wonder if what you believed was a calling was perhaps only preparation for something else.

Lately, I have been having second thoughts about the mobile coffee van vision. (more…)

  • How to Pray Effectively: A Biblical Guide to Meaningful Prayer

How to Pray Effectively: A Biblical Guide to Meaningful Prayer

There are moments in life when we say, “I’m praying for you,” and we mean it. But if we’re honest, sometimes those words stay just that—words.

This is not about guilt. It’s about awareness.

Because prayer is not a phrase we offer—it is a connection we enter.

    When Prayer Becomes Just Words

In difficult seasons, people rally together. They offer support, encouragement, and often say they are praying. That is a beautiful thing. It reflects compassion and unity.

But it also raises an important question:

What does it actually mean to pray? (more…)

If you’ve ever felt like your efforts for God aren’t making a difference… you’re not alone.

There comes a moment in every believer’s journey when something shifts—not outwardly, but deeply within. It is not always marked by visible success or measurable results, but by a quiet certainty: God is working, even when we cannot see it.

This is the beginning of a new season.

The Weight of Words: What the Bible Says About Profanity and Using God’s Name in Vain

  • How to Start a Relationship With Jesus: A Simple, Biblical Guide

How to Start a Relationship With Jesus: A Simple, Biblical Guide

At some point in life, almost everyone pauses long enough to ask a deeper question: How do I truly find God? Not religion, not rules, and not surface-level belief—but something real. Something personal. Something that actually fills the emptiness that nothing else seems to reach.

It’s a question I’ve asked myself. Like many others, I spent time chasing what the world offers—success, experiences, distractions, and temporary satisfaction. For a while, those things seemed enough. But eventually, the truth became clear: none of it could fill what I was searching for. (more…)

What’s Changing in America? A Biblical Look at Culture, Faith, and Truth

In recent years, many people have begun to sense a shift in culture. It hasn’t been sudden or dramatic, but gradual—unfolding through changing conversations, shifting priorities, and an increasing uncertainty around how truth is understood and communicated. What once felt grounded now often feels unstable, and at the center of this shift is something difficult to ignore: we are living in a culture increasingly driven by noise rather than clarity. (more…)
